As part of our dedicated commitment to safety, we have designed an extensive habitation safety inspection and a pre-sale deep clean programme on our vehicles. This also extends to our business premises. To explain further, the deep clean inlvolves steaming, sanitizing and wiping the habitation area includng the cab area, steering wheel, stalks, switches, winders as well as handles, seat adjusters, gear sticks, handbrake. The living accomodation gets the same treatment but with extra attention extended to latches, doors, cupboard handles and locks, window blinds, windows, utlities; cookers, sinks, fridges, heating units. All of this is completed by staff holding a "British cleaning certificate".
Keeping with the safety issue, all our motorhomes now recieve a comprehensive full habitation inspection by a certified "ACOPS" (accredited certificate LPG installation & testing) "NCC" (national caravan council approved) Gas Safe qualified technician. The relevant qualification certificates extends to include working on Truma, Alde, Thetford, Dometic and Alko. As part of this inspection, the electrics RCD units are tested, moisture readings taken around the vehicle (damp testing) and you are given the results found. Blinds and awning are also checked for correct working order. Only when these inspections and checks are completed and passed will a "cerificate of conformity" be issued.
With regards the vehicles specification, servicing and road worthiness, all our vehicles come supplied with 46 point specifiction sheet detailing what specification the vehicle has. Each vehicle comes with a new MOT (ideally with remedial advisorys sorted prior to sale). In regard to servicing, the running gear recieves an engine oil and filter change, gearbox oil change (except automatics or if sealed for life) and anti-freeze, brake fluid, pas fluid levels checked. Timing belts are not part our servicing programme however they can be changed at cost if you require it.
Of course, you wouldn't want to spend your money without having some piece of mind of after sales purchase warranty, so each vehicle comes with an "all inclusive warranty" of between 3 and 6 months, this is included in the agreed price, waranty's can be extended up to 12-24-36 months if required. As a final note, unfortunatly our normal business practice has also had to change a little inline with the current safety guidelines, yes you can view any of our stock vehicles before purchase however this must be done by prior arrangement and by way of an appointment. You will be issued with a face mask and gloves and there are wall hand sanitizers as well as personal hand washes, a safe distance must be adhered to on business premises. To assist with helping you, we are implementing a vehicle video walk around, this will give you a realistic view of the vehicle both inside and out. We cannot offer test drives or "one on one" demostrations of the habitation area at present however we are introducing video test drives upon request and will be able to offer a habitation demonstration of all the vehicles appliances in full working order demonstrated by the relevant qualified person.
